Just sharing something cute

I had a pretty rotten night sleep wise but one thing happened that made me smile my way through it all

Ds3 kept waking up coughing so at midnight I got him a drink of water. He refuses to have a blanket except for his night night which is just a light cot blanket he has had since he was a baby. At 3 he woke again and was crying cus he couldn't find his night night. We always put another blanket over him but he kicks it off and in the process kicked off his night night.. Anyways I said Jakey you need to have another blanket on cus its cold.. No Im hot I said no its cold and you need a blanket (his skin was cold lol) No I don't mummy my night night is magic

awwww I just found that so sweet. He can be a horror of a child Last week on Dh's night shift he woke up (cold lol) and he screamed at me to not to talk to him and in the process woke up DD. He is a Daddy's boy and doesn't usually tolerate me getting up to him at night

Anyways just wanted to share because it made a horrid night all good

See, it just goes to show that no matter how much our kids rub us the wrong way, one cute little thing comes out of their mouth and it makes everything all better.

He did another cute thing today. I have a rule that if they play in the mud then they have to come up get showered and hop in their pyjamas. Today Dh and Jacob had to go pull a friend out of the mud he had got bogged in and Jacob said to his Dad on the way there. W will have to go home and get in his jammies now won't he? Mummy says thats what happens when you play in mud
