Hi all, my DD (almost 5 months) has had a cold and cough but has coped happily and been getting better. Her cough is almost gone but still sounds a bit chesty when she does cough. She did a big phlegmy vomit a couple of days ago and today she has vomited quite a few times. I just went in to put a blanket on her and she was lying in a pool of vomit, like a massive pool, it took up about 1/3rd of her cot and her head was wet and so was her jumpsuit all the way to her bottom. We got her up and changed her and the bed clothes (first time ever to have to get her up at night for a full change of bedding) and despite being woken she was really happy. I gave her a BF and then went to burp her and she did a big power spew and threw it all back up. Still giggling and happy though. DH told me just to put her in the cot and we'll see what she does and we haven't heard peep from her, she does love her sleep though.

SO - should I be worried? I saw Shoshana's thread and someone commented that it is normal for babies to throw up when they are getting rid of a chesty cough. We just checked the sheet we took off and the spew is pretty thick like mucous.

I also took her temp and it was normal.
