    We may have gone overboard...

I'm at my mum's alone at the moment, a little bored, so I dragged out all the baby clothes we have here so I could see what needs a clean, etc... I think we may have bought a bit too much when it comes to clothes. Just at mum's, not counting what I have at home or at my nan's place, I have:

Fourteen Short sleeve jumpsuits (five 000s,four 00s, four 0s, and one of unknown size),
Twelve Long sleeve jumpsuits (nine 0000s, one 000, and one 00),
Twelve Singlets (five 0000s, four 000s, one 0, and two unknown),
Five shirts (three 0000s, one 000, and one 00),
    Three 0000 pairs of pants,
    two jackets,
and a heap of odds and ends (socks, hats, mittens, etc)

Disregarding the sizes, do you think I have enough to clothe my baby?
Admittedly, some of the clothes are pretty ugly and most likely won't be used, but this looks like a lot to me...

Its so easy to go overboard isnt it! There is jsut so many cute things out there!

I actually think your list is okay as you have things for the next sizes up.

I found the thing that we used the most was the onsies (the all in one suits). I dont think you will need many short sleeve ones. Seeming your due date I'm thinking will be around May??

Also maybe swap some of the 9 0000 long sleeve jumpsuits for some 000 ones.

The other thing I found was that we didnt use pants and tops very much as they are harder to get on and off a baby. The all in one suits you just lay them out, put the baby on top of it and do it all up IYKWIM.

    Have fun shopping

Well, whatever I don't use for this one, I can use for the next. Some of what we have are gender-specific - whatever I have, I'll be excluding some. I have nothing against girls in blue, or boys in pink, but a sparkly shirt that says "daddy's little princess" may be a bit weird if I have a boy

Both pairs of pants I have are part of sets, so I'd only really use them (if I do) along with the matching shirts.

When I first started counting, I thought "Oh no, there's too many big things!" but then I hit a large pile of 0000s and all was well lol

easy to do for number 1 isn't it?
Look out though, you might have a monster - the only time DS wore a 0000 was home from hossy and then never again - and he was only 9lb1oz.

Ohhh don't be so mean Actually, I've looked through them all again (I can't help it they're soooo cuuuute!) and I reckon some of the sizes are a bit off - a few of the "0000s" look bigger than some of the bigger sizes. Most of them are second-hand, some even from overseas, so hopefully I won't be too lost if I have a big baby I'm a bit scared that I might have a little teeny tiny one that won't fit into any of these though!
