  1. #1

Default Weaning from Formula to Cows Milk.

Firstly how old were they and how to do it.

My DD is neally 12 months old, but I cant find anywhere how to do it. eg
do I water the milk down and do half half bottle etc.

I had really bad eczema when I was a baby caused from a reaction to the cows milk.

    Anybodies input would be great.

    Thanks

Ok I started when she was 12 months with doing 3/4 formula to 1/4 milk for 3 days and then did 1/2 and 1/2 for 3 days and then did 3/4 milk to 1/4 formula for a week. During that week, Matilda's poos became more and more sloppy and more frequent, so I went to the GP to discuss what to do and they said keep her on the formula until she is 18 months and try again doing it the same way. The GP also said that formula has heaps more nutrients than cows milk and to keep her on it until she is 2 isn't a bad thing. So we are at 17 months and just going over to toddler milk now.
