    weeks/months

for those's who are interested from now on (in NSW anyway) health professionals have to refer to babies under 6 months by weeks and after 6 months by months.

    Why is that?

I always refer to Chelsea as weeks!!

Except if i see her ticker saying 5 months, 6 months etc!!

I "think" because in that first 6 months their growth & development is so rapid, so there may be a big difference for a 6 week old baby and 8 week old ykwim? After they hit 6 months the developmental stages continue but not as rapid.

God that'd be confusing, I know I lost count of weeks after about 13 weeks.

Yeah - I stopped counting in weeks after the first 3 months.
