We're another weeride user and like it for all the points mentioned - you can see your LOand interact with them alot more safely as your not turning around to talk to them and your arms are round them which IMO would protect them a bit more if you were to fall. DD loves it - she spends all the ride going "weeee"!

So weeride fans does it impact your knees at all when riding? Do you have to angle out slightly?

Wysiwg - We have a Cargobike one. I can PM you some links if you like. We got in from a guy in Ballarat. The 2 girls now ride in it sitting up. DP also go a weeride for DD2 and she loves it - DD1 has a pedal bike that DP will attach to the back of his bike with a trailgator and DD2 will be in front on the weeride. I'm not sure how he will go on it but DP saw another guy at the local pool with the same set up so it is do-able.

Depending on where you are, you are most welcome to come over and have a look and a ride of teh cargobike to check it out in real life.

Nai - Apologies if have PM'd you multiple times - it didn't seem to work. Thanks for the info, if you could PM me some links that would be great. One of the ones I found in Melbourne/Ballarat looked like no longer is selling them. I am in Camberwell, so I might take you up on that offer of seeing it, but want to decide first whether I am willing to spend the money as don't want to try yours and love it . (also if they are available anymore).

Regarding Weeride, I notice on site it says for use on roads with no gravel etc, I am assume this is just because of the chance of gravel hitting bub? Anyone used them ok on non bitumen bike tracks (e.g. the compressed down gravel types)

    I have PM'd you

I didn't know about the weeride not to be used on gravel - we ride on the compacted sandy gravel stuff all the time and it has been fine.
