    weight gain 6 - 8 month

My baby only put on 465grams between his 6m check and his 8m check. He has always been at the high end of the scale for weight, so Im not sure if i need to be worried by this or not. He still has 4 milk feeds a day and was have 2 x food but will now be having 3. He never seemed hungry though. He also grew 3cm and is a lot more mobile, rolling and commando crawling. Still, its seems like a very low weight gain. What have other peoples bubs weight patterns been at this age?

Aww hun youa re doing a great job!

Their gains slow down a lot as they grow, , he is probably settling into a new routine, with the introduction of solids. And with all the extra movement he is burning off a lot more energy!! As long as milk is still his main source of sustinance then I would just keep going as you are.

It can be so tricky when things change!

I agree with Beema, there are a lot of factors as to why bub's weight-gain would slow.

Growing 3cms and becoming more active takes a lot more energy

You are doing a great job!

DD is the same, I put it down to being more active and too busy to eat as much as she used to. She was 9kg at 6 months and at 9 months 9.65kg. As long as bubs is happy and growing in length then I don't think there's anything to worry about
