weight question..

My son has just turned 16 months, and i just weighed him and he is 12kg.. but at his 13 month weight he was 11kg.. so he has put on 1 kg in only 3 months.. is this ok??

As long as hes gaining weight don't worry. I'd imagine weight gain would be slow as they get more and more active.

At this age they tend to put weight on a lot more slowly... Aidyn was about 11kg at 12 months old, and now at 24 months old he is 14 kg, so has only gained 3kg in one year...

DS has been 14kg for ages now - at least 3 months - but he gets chubby then sprouts and gets chubby and sprouts again so I'm thinking he's doing okay - the weight gain just really slow down for here on. If you look at the "standard" growth charts you find they plateau a fair bit

Yep jaykob has slowed down considerably now...

he was 13.5 kilos 2 months ago and now hes only 14.7 @ 16 months.

I think too because our bubs are in the higher percentile, you will see more of a slow down iykwim?

Maddison is 7.5 yrs & weighs 20.5 kgs!!!
she is an active kid & people often tell me she is too under weight, but she eats heaps some days & snacks on others... I dont worry what she weighs, coz she is happy & healthy & full of energy!!!
