Happens to me too. And happened alot when she was real young id hear her cry just before she'd actually start crying. So id always wake 2-3 mins before her, my mum said she was like that too with us kids.
I did. Everything also sounded like his cry or maybe it was there was always a background sound of his cry. I always felt like background noise like the shower, tv or whatever was blocking out his cry and I would get anxious. I believe now it is part of the physical bond. Like that physical pang I get when at work and someone brings in a baby. I ache almost to have him with me then!
Yep, another one here who gets the phantom crying. On the odd occasion I've left him at home with DP or my sister has taken him for a little while, I swear I can hear him crying. When he had his sleepover with my sister (gotta love her!) recently, I woke up at 1.30am hearing him crying. Obviously, it was in my head, but when I asked my sister what time he woke during the night, sure enough, she said 1.30.
All mummies are a little bit psychic when it comes to their bubbys.
