At what age did your child frop their day sleep

DS1 - tried to give it up at 2yr2months when DD was born, but still had one every second day given the *right* environment (he was full from lunch, nice and warm with a blanket etc and gee whiz, he went to sleep ) - entirely at around 3yo

DD - stubborn little minx gave up day sleeps by 2yo - and night sleep for that matter - but that is another story

Go with the flow - even if it means a sleep every second or third day - but a rest is still important IMO

Ash hasn't had one for months, now I'm not sure how long, 18 months I think she started stopping but we'd still put her in for a rest now she won't even do that!

My DS1 was 3 1/2 when he dropped his day nap, it was bliss while he was having them! Though I found he took a lot longer to go to sleep at night if he had a nap, once we dropped the nap he was out like a light at night.
