DD was 18 months old ... partly because we were renovating "her" room. Without the renovations ... not sure. But I know one thing for sure, don't fall for the line that they won't get used to sleeping in their room if you have them in yours. DD now ABSOLUTELY REFUSES to sleep in our bed, even though she did for 8 months and then in the same room till 18 months. I now have to sleep with a teddy because I miss her so much and she refuses to sleep with us.

MM.... well lol Oskar is STILL in our room, in his cot next to me. He's 27 1/2 months - Elijah is 3 months and he's in there too lol. He's in his hammock at the end of the cot both on my side of the bed. I LOVE having Oskar there and will probably transition him to his bed (it's a single but can be made shorter so it's only about cot length atm) in there then to his room. I really do love him being there though and if he stirs in the night I can settle him before he really wakes up or if he's not well I can check what's going on. He threw up about a month or so ago but was on his back and not turning his head once he kinda woke up a bit and was frightened (he was choking a bit) so I was able to get to him (rolled him then sat him up) way before I would've even heard him had he'd been in his own room even though it's across the hallway cos we'd have the doors closed because of teenager.

So anyway at this point in time I have no immediate plans to move either of them anywhere. Oskar will possibly just decide to sleep in his big boy bed (which is set up) in his room one day on his own when he's had enough of us haha.

DD was 9 weeks when she went to her room (right next to ours) as she outgrew the bassinette and her cot wouldn't fit in our room. Also she was (and is) a very light sleeper and we all slept better when she was 5 metres away rather than 1 metre. In saying that will try to keep #2 in our room for as long as poss- it just feels better...

DS is 25 months and DD is 7 months. Both are in our room - either in our bed or in the bed / cot next to our bed. I have no immediate plans to move them out however DS is transitioning from our bed to a single bed next to ours. Both are still frequent night wakers and it is too cold to traipse down the hall to tend to them when they can be just there next to me and we all get to stay warm.
