what can i do? im so tired!

Logan is playing up really bad tonight. He is quite sick with a cold and he keeps waking up like ever 10 mins or so crying/screaming (he is sitting on my knee right now)
because he is so loud he is also waking up bella (who is also coming down with a cold )
So i seem to be going in circles from logan to bella and back again.... Logan is telling me that his ears are sore so before i put him to bed i gave him some cold and flu relief which hasnt seemed to work so i gave him some pain and fever relief but that hasnt worked either!!!!!
im slowly going nuts, i have had bugger all sleep for the last couple of nights and i dont think im going to cope very well if the night continues on like this!!!!

please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you co-sleep with them both? That really helps Liebling when he's ill. Hope the little poppets get better soon.

sounds like the cold and flu relief has sent him batty- perhaps find an alterative next time- must have something in it that is revving him up

otherwise brauer make some great products such as the brauer calm tonic- totally natural- you can get the from the chemist
otherwise can you pop a DVD on and let him lay quietly and watch it till his zzz whilst you rest as well

reading above some of the medicine could have kept him up, nurofen orange does that to our DS. The other thing you can try is "painstop".....we were given it to use on DS when he had his grommets put in. You can get a Day & Night one. If it is his ears they will hurt more when he lies down, you could get them checked as if they are infected the doc may give you some pred mix that will really take the edge of the pain. Otherwise, lots of cuddles & perhaps co sleeping to if you don't mind.

it sounds like he may have an ear infection, which is pretty common with kids who have colds, i'd probably take him to the dr to get it checked out - he might need antibiotics.

We both ended up going to sleep at about 2:30... but then he got up at 7
how can he not be tired???
det - i used the brauer pain relief and flu relief last night...... it usually works but last night it did seem to do the opposite!!
im so so so tired...... going to the doctors today, i hope he goes down for a sleep aftre that! fingerscrossed.
