What clothes size did your newborn start off with?

DD1 - 7lb2 - 00000for about a month then 0000for about 3 months
DS - 9lb1 - I squeezed him into a 0000 to go home but really he was a large 000
DD2 - 7lb3 - wore some 0000 stuff but was long enough for 000

My DD was a micro prem at 1lb 14oz she had to have teeny smocks made that looked like dresses they swam on her! When she was discharged from hospital she was 3.5 months old and weighed in at 3.6 kilos and in 0000s.

I buy most of our baby clothes from Europe, wool /silk baby clothing. The sizes over there are in CM's so you can buy 50cm-56cm for example.

We were 00000's here, DD was a shorty though

DS was in 00000 for about 5 weeks. He was 2540g at birth.

DD wore preemie clothes for her first month in SCN then into 00000/000000 when home, they still swam on her. She was only 1950g when she came home. She's still in 0000 now at 8 months.

Ds was 00000 at 3.1kg and 50cm but was size 1 by 7months

Dd was 0000 at 3.5kg and 53cm

Both mine into 000 but both over 4kg with DD the outfit 0000 they had in warming box was really snug fit, so for DS I expected it and went for 000 straight away.

I have tiny babies - DD1 was 2.5 kg and DD2, 2.8 kg. both fitted 00000, but DD2 stacked on the weight more quickly so only fitted them for a few weeks.
