If this baby is a boy then i will splash out on boy things. A lot of my baby stuff is very girly so i would like him to have his own things. As well as toys, a new mattress, rocker, wraps, blankets and clothes.
I'm still undecided if i will need/want the toddler attachment for my strider plus. I carried DD in a sling until she was 12 months old and only used the pram/stroller if we went out for the day. So i think it wouldn't be used as DD could sit in the pram while i carry the baby and when shes not in it, the baby can be in it. If we happened to have a 3rd right away i'd consider it but i doubt very much i'd go for a third!
Everything! Ive got my list and price just have to wait for sale to start. I have nothing left from DD and she didn't really have much to begin with. This baby is getting the works (proper cot, change table, bouncer, pram, capsule etc) oh and of course clothes
We found we were splashing out more on new things for DS - new convertible booster so dd could have his old one, new bed so DD could have the cot (that she doesn't even sleep in yet anyway...). We did buy her a basinet tho. So wish I'd bought one with ds!
A double pram (well, actually five "double" prams until I found what worked ), an ergo and some new clothes - DD1 was a serious chucker and so lots of her baby clothes were gross. New nursery linen and decor because DD1 was still using hers. Increased the MCN stash. Otherwise, we were really lucky and borrowed furniture etc from SIL.
This time around we need to buy just about everything because while this bub is planned, it took us years to decide to plan her ITMS so we have gotten rid of all the girls' stuff.
We had a 4 year gap so alot of the stuff didn't survive us moving house and being stored for that long. Hence, new bassinet and linen. We had a girl so we got pink decor. Bought an ergo after buying the baby bjorn Ummm new video monitor. Wasn't really necessary tbh. Steriliser, bottles etc. New pram (hated the old one). New clothes, different season & pink. New car as with 2 kids one car wasn't viable anymore as DH uses it for work. A couple of baby books....I think I'll stop now lol
