Great thread M2R! I'm kinda baffled as to what I will "NEED" (maybe not go so nuts on baby clothes this time around).

I will definately need a new carseat but instead of another convertible one like I have, I will upgrade DD to one of the toddler ones for 12kg+.

I have awesome condition rockers/playmats/jumparoo/jolly jumper etc so the accessories aren't too much of an issue. I might have to look at selling my Babyjogger city mini and getting a double pram of some description. Or I could just put DD in the pram and bubs in a sling hmmmmm

If I have a boy this round I will definately need new clothes for him. Everything for DD was super girly sans a few onesies and jumpsuits!

With the 2nd - Capsule, seat/sling for the bath, double pram, breast pump, baby carrier, baby/safety gates.

If we have a 3rd bub we will need to buy EVERYTHING because we gave away or sold most of our baby stuff. Things I would get this time but didn't with the other two are a swing/rocker(automatic one), slings, maybe a play pen type thing even though I really don't like them but I think with older kids into lego and stuff I'll probably need it if I need to put bub down quickly.

One of the things that I've been disappointed about is that having a second of the same gender, my shopping opportunities have been severely limited! However I have still managed to buy what I consider to be the bare essentials (hahaha!).

    I've bought:
    - A charcoal Close Baby Carrier (because I felt that colour more suitable for a winter baby!!!!)
    - An arms reach co-sleeper (second hand off ebay)
    - 0000 and 000 all in one suits (my first bub was a summer baby and this one is winter)
    - New carseat (this will be a gift from PIL)
    - Double pram (Baby Jogger City Mini Double - pressie from my parents and brother)
    - Peanut shell baby carrier (just coz I felt that having 3 slings wasn't enough)

    Still to buy:
    - an outdoor swing that I can hang from our back porch. My SIL says that hers was the best ever as it meant she could be out in the backyard with her oldest watching her play whilst the little one was safe and sound.
    - Breast pump

I think that's it (and probably enough!)

    Got given:

    - 2nd hand proper wooden cot (DD was in a portacot as a baby)
    - 2nd hand double pram

    Bought 2nd hand:
    - Petite single pram suitable for newborn (as I don't drive - for use on public transport)
    - Papsan swing

    Bought new:
    - beanie
    - socks
    - wraps

    Already have from last time:
    - clothes
    - bedding
    - a carrier
    - cloth nappies
    - bottles (if needed)

We are planning on getting a tandem pram and a second cot. DS will be 21 months when his sister arrives and he just isn't ready to move out of his cot yet. Other than that I have just bought a few clothes for her. I am considering whether or not we should buy/rent a cradle swing for her (it was so good when DS was little). We bought so much stuff brand new for DS (almost all gender neutral) so as to save money when we had our second bub.

ETA: we are also buying a second-hand carseat to last bubby between when she grows out of her capsule until we pop her in a Maxi-Rider.

for my second bub (DS) I bought:

a basinette... only because my mum was staying for 2 weeks after the birth & sleeping in the single bed in DS's room, he only used it for 2 weeks then into his room in the cot.

    Cloth nappies

    HUB sling

I ended up buying a maclaren stroller too... I would have had that for my first but my XH wouldnt allow me so I was able to save to buy one myself by the time DS had turned a few months old I think

A few boys outfits (99% of his boy clothing was either hand me down from my nephew or second hand from vinnies)

Blue cot sheets, again from vinnies

a FP swing, bought off ebay but good as new!

I THINK thats about it Its ALL been sold now! LOL

I'm going to borrow a cradle, may get a capsule and double stroller but I hardly use my pram now as it is so wondering what the best solution is for that. This bub is a pink one again so it just gives me an op to use all the things I never got to use with V. Maybe some smaller warm bodysuits because of the different season.
