What do I do during the day???

ok, so Lach is now co sleeping with us and had a fantastic night last night. woohoo! I got lots of sleep for the first time in about 12 months! lol

I am now wondering what I do with him during the day?? He is extrememly clingy, and hates being on his own. SO its all good when I want to get up and do stuff, I just wear him in a sling. Wat do I do when I just want to sit down and eat or something???

    any suggestions grealy appreciated

Nicky we have both a motorised swing and a bouncer that our DS loved. I used to pop him in either and put him on the floor close to me when I wanted to sit down and have a bite to eat. That way he could still be with me and he would look at the toys as well and be quite happy.

Nicholas was like this as he has reflux. He would not sleep at all without being held or carried in the HUB sling. He was also in our bed as it was the only way we could get any sleep. When he would nap, it would be 20 mins max. Things didn't get better until he was about 8 weeks old and finally started to sleep better at night and have longer naps - 45 mins. The only advice I can offer is pop him in a sling (Highly recommend Hug A Bub) and carry him around all day. They sleep better, feed better and you can get stuff done!

I used to stick James in the bouncer and cart him around the house with me and talk to him about what I was doing, how I was doing it etc...I'd also do a lot of thinking out loud which he reacted very well to. Thankfully he wasn't clingy but he was very "talkative" in return. He's 6 now, and won't shut up!!!
