What do you dress your baby in under their sleeping bag?

I've just bought one of those fleece type sleeping bags for DD who is 3 1/2 months old. The sleeping bag has arms on it, unlike the grobag ones that are sleeveless. So my question is, what do I dress her in underneath it? Just a singlet or a singlet & jumpsuit? Her room is approx 18/19 degrees at night.

Nina's room is around 17-18 degrees at night, and underneath her sleeping bag she wears a singlet & bonds wondersuit. I guess it's really depending on if your baby feels the cold or not. Nina does.

I'm the same as Jodi. Underneath the sleeping bag a singlet and bonds wondersuit.

I also dress them in a singlet and wondersuit under their sleeping bag in winter, in summer it's usually a singlet and nappy underneath

Thanks ladies. I will give it a whirl tonight and see how we go... She definitely feels the cold so I will be sure to put her in a singlet and wondersuit too.

i stopped using the fleece lined sleepsacks, cos my bub was wet with sweat sleeping in those. Now i'm using cotton knit sleepsacks (inner and outer) it's like tshirt fabric, the sleevless sleepsacks, and she's much happier and no longer spends all night with wet hair.

i put a cotton tee, her nappy and a woollen soaker over the nappy - that's what she goes to bed in. Her room is 20 degrees overnight.

We do singlet and wondersuit here as well.
He also has an oil heater on in his room because it's getting very cold here at night.

I do a s/s jumpsuit, wondersuit, and grobag, then two blankets over the top, with a sleeveless grobag. Her room is 16 and her tummy is warm when she gets up - arms and hands are freezing but she doesnt seem phased about that!

    Hi,
James is in a 2.5 tog grobag. It gets FREEZING here. He wears a bonds wondersuit, and pj's under it. Then depending on how cold, he often has a blanket over him aswell.

Our DS wears a long sleeved body suit (no legs) then a wondersuit with a thin polar fleece sleeping bag (from Best & Less) then we use a sheet & light blanket to hold him down (it only goes up to his tummy though - he HATES things on his shoulders/arms). His room is around 17/18°C over night.
