If you don't know what they are, a Snack Trap is a little cup that has a soft plastic lid that has slits in it so bub can get their hand in to pull out their snacks, but the snacks don't fall out easily. I'm just trying to come up with some new ideas for Juliette's & wondered what others have put in theirs.
So far we have tried (and loved):
* dried fruit (sultanas, apricot, craisins, banana chips, mango)
* cereal (we've done Cheerios & going to try Nutragrain)
* grapes
* chopped strawberries
* ham, tomato & cheese chunks
* tiny teddies (usually one or two mixed with other dry snacks)
* mini pretzels when I can find them again.

We've done nutrigrain and DS loved it.. also have had chopped apple with a little lemon, mandarins with no pips, twiggy sticks (they smell though) rice wheels (there in the healthy food section) or little uglies biscuits..
I was going to say jack usually had nutri grain fantastic for when we had a early start he still got breakie
or dried fruits...as he got older I used a nuts and bolts mix as well
I want a Snack Trap now!!! Off to goggle...![]()
I thought you were calling their mouth the snack trap PMSL....oopsy! Going to check that one out, thanks Sarah
eta: what about the mini rice wheels? they are in mini packets, in the healthy food section at our woolies?
LOL Raven, it is kinda like that!!!!
For the others... You can get them at Toys R Us normally for about $9 each but every few weeks they have them on sale, three for $9! Makes no sense, but keep an eye out for it![]()
My snack trap is a zip lock bag- DD can get her hand in but if she drops it stuff doesn't spill! Anyway, DD loves branflakes in her bag, olives (pipped obviously), some crackers made by Carrs (that aren't made with hydrogenated fats), fat rice crackers crunched up into pieces and some dried frut shapes from the organic shop. Actually those Bellamy dried apple and pear things are yum when fresh stuff isn't available.
