I was much "better" with my first two children... basically only milk and water and diluted juice until they were about 3yo. With my current 2yo toddler he will just grab any drink my 4yo or teenager leaves lying around. Whatever my 4yo demands my 2yo has to have (I make it more dilute). In winter they start the day with a very dilute hot chocolate. I'm still BFing my 2yo so actually his day starts with a BF in bed (and ends the same way too with often a lunch-time BF as well).
One thing I have never used are "toddler artificial milk" the stuff in a tin that looks like formula. What a complete waste of money that would be. I guess some children might need it if they are having trouble consuming solids but even then by 2yo they should be able to have smoothies etc with some blended superfoods like In-Liven etc.
