What else can I feed him???

Ok, DS (14mths old) loves eating. That is not the problem!

We usually have porridge (or wheat bix) for breakfast
He usually has a whole apple
He usually has 2 slices of bread for lunch sometimes with an egg, usually just a spread tho. Sometimes a slice of cheese and a bit of ham
He usually has another piece of fruit (and sometimes yoghurt) for afternoon tea
And then a bikkie or 2
Then he has a nibble of the things I'm making for dinner but doesn't usually like the raw vegies so he whinges and carries on (seeminlgly because he is hungry) but what else should I give him? (it is nearly dinner time mind you)

He loves eating fruit. But I hate that EVERY SINGLE NAPPY HAS POO IN IT!!!!! AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!

I'm at a loss as to what else I can give him to eat that is not fruit.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I am not any help as i have the exact opposite problem. I watch all the other kids in my mums group eat everything, and i mean everything - and DS just plays with it all, and hardly ever eats.

His pre-dinner snack is often a Cruskit with vegemite or cream cheese or similar. He usually only eats half (i 'cut' it into fingers, sort of)

    How about some:
    pikelets with a little honey
    raisin toast
    cheesy muffins
    zucchini slice

eta - sorry - didn't read your post properly. I probably wouldn't give any of the things i've suggested just before dinner!lol

We are big fans of plain jatz biscuits (DD usually has 2-3 while I am preparing dinner if she is wanting to wat something).

Or plain rice thins. You know, the really thin rice cakes that are about the size of your palm? DD and my niece LOVE eating them with nothing on them, so you don't even have to bother getting out the vegemite or whatever. And the break in half easily for if you only want to give them that much, not a full one.

DD is very fond of cruskits. A cruskit with vegemite or peanut butter is often her pre-dinner snack. (They are very light.) Also, I love that because she can't say 'c' sounds properly yet, when she says 'cruskit' it sounds like 'bastard' LOL!
