I have always sung the "Pushbike Song" to Riley from the start... I usually sing it when he's getting his nappy changed and move his legs to the words - he loves it!! It always gets a smile!
When we are soothing him or trying to get him to sleep we sing "4 and 20 Blackbirds" or "Row Row Row Your Boat" (not sure of the real names of the songs?!) and both of those seem to do well.
The "Pushbike Song" words I sing (not sure if they're exactly right) are:
Riding along on my pushbike honey
When I noticed you
Riding along on my pushbike honey
Down South Avenue
You looked so pretty
As you were riding along
You looked so pretty
As you were singing this so-ooo-onngggg
Down up peddles down up down
Gotta get across to the other side of town
Before the sun goes down
Hey hey hey
Oooh chuuchuu oooh ahhh
Oooh chuuchuu oooh ahhh
Gawd, lucky you can't hear me out loud and lucky Riley seems to be tone deaf...haha!!
