Well both dh and I do the cooking. Unless he is working then I do it. I sit down at 7 ish. So once my kids are in bed I sit. Everything else can wait till the morning. The kitchen is generally cleaned straight after dinner so I have a good 2 hours or so before the bedtime routine begins. We at dinner early. Generally around 5 but sometimes it is as late as 6
