Thanks for all of your responses. Well, I tried the dream feed which went really well up until 5 minutes ago when she woke up! DH is trying to settle her again. Maybe I just have to get used to the idea that she might just wake through the night. Doesn't sound so unusual at 4 months after speaking to other people.
