DD1 has just turned 5 and it is technically lights out at 8pm, but she doesn't go to sleep until closer to 8.30. She wakes anywhere from 6.15 to 7.30am. DD2 is almost 3 and has just dropped her day sleepshe is now very ready for bed by 8pm and her wake up time is the same as DD1. DD3 is 16 months and goes down around 8.45 and is up around 6/6.30

LOL! Didn't catch that part. I read your post as she went to bed at 7-7:30 then slept til 7ish, 8-9ish on occasions. Nope, if she was still bouncing around me at 10pm she'd be putting herself to bed as I'd already be asleeptill 10pm? It does my head in!
Gees, what's your secret? My friend's kid is like this too. She goes to bed at 7 even if she's had a day sleep!DD1 goes to bed at 730 every night, tired or not.
no day sleeps and sleeps anywhere till 730-9am
Olive, I like the clock idea too...
tan she has a nromal alarm clock with a bigger display, to start with we blocked off the minute numbers and told her she could get up when she sees the number 7, but recently we uncovered the whole display so she can read it all, works reallllllllly well!
