With DD2 I discovered Silly Billyz bibs (at Big W)...they are fabric but kinda fluffy so they repel liquid & dry quickly, the ones I got are quite large and they have a fabric pocket at the front which is good at catching bits. They have 2 tabs on teh back so still fit when they get bigger too. They wash clean really well and dry quickly which is good if you don't want to be buying lots of them. More exxy than regular bibs but worth it IMO.
