Well he is in our room most of the time but even then we are still I'm the path of any possible crashes as the rooms are side by side.
I think the best solution is to move him up the back and just sleep in the other back room next to it. I can just sleep in there. I don't have to fully move
it is perfectly normal to have irrational fears! i have on about the girls room being the front one, parranoid someone will try break in there window.
it wont happen, there window is bolted shut i cant even open it from the inside, theres is a big bush covering all outside pluss our dog goes off her head at everything, but the thought is still there.
as they get older one fear is replaced with another, equaliy irrational (or compleatly rational) one.
we bought a house in a quiet cul-de-sac and I still insisted on having ds in the back of the house for the same reason as you are worried about. I would move him if I were you and then you will have less worry. although now i'm expecting no 2, not sure what we will do with the next one as there is only one room at the back of the house.
