I have been saying "this is my favourite stage" every stage he has gone through since he has been born, LOL. It just keeps getting better and better. I think my all time favourite stage will be when he is sleeping through the night, LOL.

Hmm I like newborn up to 2 weeks - then reality sets in, overtiredness hits and hormones go wild!

Then I like 5 months, the unsettledness of 4 months have worn off, they are usually having two good sleeps during the day, most of the night, and can interact with you during the day.

Then I like anytime AFTER teething. LOL

Oh - and sleeping through - still waiting for that stage 2.5 years after the birth of my first child - so I hope it comes sooner than that for you Marlene!!!

Loving every stage....but the stage i find fascinating is prob from 16- 24 months....when they're getting on their feet, they can have a semi convo with you. When everything interests them, when they try to talk but just cant get it our right. When meal time is the up most important thing to do at that very moment (eating sultanas one by one is the cutest).....reading books upside down, plonking themselves down WHEREVER they like just to get a good look at a toy etc. I love it when you can xcite them with bath time, bed time, dinner time - the simplest things to do in a day can just brighten their whole little faces up. Mmmmm i just love the nearly 2 age.........

I lurve the newborn stage - for me that's up to 3mths old. I love all of it but the newborn stage is especially precious to me as they are only at that stage for such a short time and then it's gone After that they start to become little people and their personalities start to emerge. I really love the 16-24mth stage too because that's when they are on the threshold of independence and you don't have to do so much for them as they transition from toddler to child.

its so nice to hear what stages everyone loves...im with you guys, ive loved every stage so far, but, youre right, the newborn stage is soooo precious..they are just so tiny and innocent..my bub is 3 months old now, and she is almost twice as big as she was when she was born, she is growing so quickly...i just want to be able to pause time sometimes!!!!
although im also looking forward to all those other cool things, like when she starts to eat, and become more interactive, and start trying to talk...oooooh its all so exciting!!!!
i guess i just love being a mummy
