    What's in your nappy bag today?!

    We did this a while ago & it was fun so I thought I'd start it up again This is what I have just put back into my bag this afternoon as it's just been washed. I'm told I have everything but the kitchen sink in my bag so I want to see if anyone can beat me LOL!

    * My diary & pen (in the diary has all sorts of papers, receipts, invitations, Dr referral etc)
    * Travel wipes x2 (one is only a sample sized one I got from Big W)
    * Three nappies
    * One pair of Alexzander's undies
    * A little bag containing mummy stuff - Panadol, tissues, pen, hairband, nail file, lip gloss, chocolate mints, pad, tampon
    * Mini deoderant
    * Mini first aid kit - dettol cream, bandaids, cotton buds, gauze, bandage, aloe vera gel, smiley stickers
    * Bib
    * Short sleeved bodysuit
    * Muslin wrap to cover the pram if Juliette goes to sleep (hahaha)
    * Another little bag with mini suncream, aquim gel, bottom butter, disposable change mat, nappy bags
    * Dummy pod with two dummies
    * Wallet
    * Drop Buddy
    * Snacks - Tic Tacs, sultanas, Baby MumMums, fruit pole & a cheesymite stick
    * Attached to the outside, some rings & a car rattle with teething keys

    Then each day we use it I add the following
    * Water bottles x2
    * Hat for both kids
    * Jumpers if needed
    * Mobile
    * Keys
    * Point & shoot camera

    Not sure if I can beat you Sarah, as it does look like you've got a good supply of everything , but then you do have 2 children

    Ours is
    4 Nappies

    1 Spare Pack of Wipes (the 1's you get in the NewBorn Huggies pack)
    1 Travel Pack of Tissues
    1 Pack of Nappy Sacks
    1 Pack of Change Mats
    2 Facewashers
    2 Bibs (unless he is already wearing one)
    2 Singlets
    1 Short Sleeve Jumpsuit (this sometimes get taken out - just depends where and how long we are going for though)
    1 Short Sleeve Bodysuit
    3 Plastic spoons
    1 Pack of Cheesymite Rusks
    Little Rattle Toy (in case I forget a toy...it has happened )
    1 Hat
    Baby Roll-on Suncream
    Baby Nail Scissors
    Small Tube of Bepanthen (from the sample bags)
    Tube of Bonjella
    Camera
    Small Bottle of that Hand Sanitizer

    Then we put in
    Water in a Sippy Cup
    1 Bottle and the dispenser with formula (this is depending on where we are going, as most times we still BF)
    1 Jar of food
    1 Little Container with Fruit
    1 Cheese Stick
    1 Frozen Teether

    Then of course I have to put in my stuff...
    Hairbrush (this is a must have for me), Sunglasses, Lipbalm, Pen, Little Writing Pad, Pads, 1 pair Nursing Pads, Chewy, Panadol and Sometimes my purse (depending on whether I'm taking my handbag or not), oh and sometimes a bottle of water for me.

    Wow - I do alright with just 1 child - no wonder the bag is so heavy

    My goodness Sarah, do you have a bag or a suitcase

    Mine has:

    separate pouch with:
    - 2-4 cloth nappies (these get added as I go out) and a swim nappy and rashy
    - wetbag
    - small tube of pawpaw salve
    - small pot of sudocream
    - small bottle of hand sanitiser
    - wipes
    - microfleece liners and a few flushable liners
    - 2 emergency sposies (these have been in there for a while LOL)
    - change mat
    DS' hats (2 usually)
    sm-33
    DS' sunglasses
    DS' shoes
    spare t-shirt/singlet and shorts
    sunscreen and mozzie repellent
    water bottle for DS, and a bag of emergency snacks (corn puffs, rice cakes and sultanas)
    flannelette mini wrap which gets used as an impromptu towel if we end up going to the local park (which has water play areas)

    This usually just stays in the car when I'm out and only comes out if needed, in which case I'll also put my wallet, mobile and keys in there too.

    we've just started toilet training, so it's all changed now

    - change of clothing (tee and trousers/shorts) (in front zip)
    - bib and spoon
    - wetbag, changemat, and pack of NatureBabycare wipes
    (in back compartment)
    - two nappies, one trainer, two knickers (in front compartment)
    - hand sanitiser, hemp bottom balm, tissues, lip balm for me, emergency $10 note, MCN advocacy pamphlet for mums in changerooms who ask me about bilby's nappies, organic baby sunscreen. emergency sultanas, emergency ryvitas - in front pockets

    her hat is on her head, so don't have to pack that.

    wondering what i should pack, to be able to clean up a puddle, that happens indoors when out of home.

    plus i have a food/drink cooler bag
    my own bag (wallet, diary, keys, sunnies, camera etc)
    and if we go swimming, a separate bag for the pool/beach stuff

    in the early days, other things i carried in the nappy bag
    - cloth breastpads
    - muslin wraps, sarongs
    - four nappy combos for an outing e.g prefold in a cover with leg gussets
    - spare teeshirt for me
    - gripe water

    OMG Sarah, how do you actually carry that around??

    I just bought a new smaller nappy bag that I am in love with and only cost me $10 so love it even more, find I take out way less stuff with #2 than I did with #1

    2 nappies
    1 pack travel wipes
    1 bib
    1 snack box with crackers, sultannas, cakebars and muesli bars
    Both the boys water bottles
    Purse
    Mobile phone
    Lip gloss
    Tampons
    Keys

    Then I normally have a separate bag I keep in the car with a change of clothes for both the boys so I don't have to carry them around with me, but still there if I need them.
