Nina was 15 months, and Emily was 18 months.
We did it this early as we felt they were ready. They'd wake themselves up at night as the cot was getting too small.
If I had of left it until they could climb out, then Nina would still be in a cot My girls aren't climbers.
We have never had a problem of the girls climbing out of bed and playing or wanting to leave their room.
