I forced my boys onto one day sleep by about 12 months I'm a lovely mum haha! No seriously, most pre-school activities are in the morning and I was always busy with the older kids so it suited us when they swapped to one sleep. DD though I think it wasn't til about 15 months. But the boys, much earlier.

Re: When did your child drop a sleep?

We just lost the arvo nap 2 weeks ago so 15 months. She has a long morning sleep and has had 2 random afternoon 30 min sleeps due to being unwell.
    I miss the afternoon one!!
Joeve, was this hard? I would have thought that the morning nap is dropped first so there isn't a huge gap of awake time before bed.

So I have put her to bed at 10 instead of 9:30 and she went to sleep in about 10 minutes. I'm going to try the arvo nap at 3 instead of 2 and see how she goes. I just found some info in the printouts that the sleep school gave me when dd was little. It has a rough guide and at 10-15 months the sleeps move to 10am and 3pm, all makes sense now!
I need her naps, it's the only time I can actually sit down and get stuff done

DD3 is just under 13 months and down to one 3hour nap in the morning 11-2 (sometimes til 3). She dropped her second nap a bout a month ago when she got sick. She still is so i thought she would need the extra nap.

More fun with mumma being awake
