DS is 19 months and still only manages to get 'sounds like..." words out. But he is very expressive with his gestures and expressions that I am still not worried about him not talking. When I saw the MCHN at 18 months she said it is just so common for the boys to still not be talking at this age, but they tend to be more physically developed then the girls. She was not even worried in the slightest. She said once they start talking, they learn very quickly and it all balances out as they grow older.
