    Re: Who to invite?

We invited quite a few people to DDs first birthday. I think the list was at 60 odd (and we catered for them all, of which 30 to 35 actually showed up! Which was a bit dissapointing tbh, but hey we had fun!)

Like the previous post said, its more a celebration of surviving the first year!

we are having DS this weekend and we have invited family and a few friends. Even with just family it is over 30 ppl (hubby has a big family) and i just didnt want it bigger than that lol. just way to much to organise and too much money lol.

i plan on doing the friends with kiddies parties for the next year and so on when DS can actually enjoy having the kids to play with a bit more. ITMS?

Think we invited about 80 to both Moo and Buster's very first birthday parties, basically family and friends that we are close to, childless included. For us the first is the big one so we go all out!

Wow! Time flies. Who would you like there? Your daughter won't really care who comes, so it's really about who you want to celebrate the first year with, I think.
