Jack has recently started taking the pillow case off his pillow every time he goes to bed. He will throw it on the floor and sleep on the bare pillow. He loves his linen sets so it can't be that. I am at a loss as to why he does it. Is it just one of those things - maybe he did it once and got a reaction? Or could there be some deeper reason for this? We have asked him why (he sometimes does answer why questions properly), but in this case he just repeats the question "why did you take your pillow case off". And if we don't ask him why, he asks the question himself anyway. Any ideas?
LOL no idea... but it sounds cute & annoying for you at the same time.... I wonder what it is. Maybe try different pillow cases? Get some Healing Hippo Sleepy spray and spray his pillow (we spray Matilda's pillow every night). Matilda sometimes wants 1 pillowcase and then changes her mind later.... she doesn't take them off but will incesantly swap pillows LOL....
I tried the "spray" tonight - Jack just looked at me and said "can't sleep on spray" LOL! But so far the pillow case is still on - but he's not asleep yet either so I'll wait and see what happens. Thanks for the idea Christy.
Caro - I believe you find them in the placebo section of your supermarket
The Healing Hippo sprays are aromatherapy sprays that are used for different things. The sleepy spray is one that I used that finally helped (with other things) to get Zander to sleep through the night at around 18 months old. When he recently had bad sleeping problems again we pulled it back out & it worked wonders.
