Ours share. DD still wakes and makes noise through the night and comes in to us. DS is on the top bunk and I sit with DD while she goes off to sleep. We all natter a little bit and then it's sleep time.

Occasionally DS wakes and comes in too. They don't usually wake each other.. it's only when it's prolonged crying/screaming that they seem to wake the other. They usually just wake and make their own way in to us.

It's worked ok for us. If we get a third, and stay in this house, then they'll all be sharing... I'm sure we'll manage hehe.
