We have loved ours in the past but can't really use it in our new place because it is already quite damp and I'm unwilling to introduce more moisture into the house. BUT I still use the inhalant mixture on a cloth nappy and hang it in their room - that works too, just not as famously.
The only thing to be aware of with vaporisers is the burn risk. Not a risk as far as I'm concerned when they're in a cot. But if they're in a bed you'll probably want to put it up high (and make sure you wipe the ceiling cause it will likely get very mouldy, lol!)
We have the Euky Bear one too and haven't had any problems with it. I do love it and am quite sad I can't use it in our current house.

I cant speak more highly of a good vaporizer I never used 1 for DD but when DS has croup over the winter holidays it worked wonders and her was better in a couple of days
