Yeah, I borrowed a Vicks one from a friend before we bought the euky bear one. They are essentially the same product. But where there's steam there's steam-burn risk. Every time I've mentioned a vaporiser in the GP's rooms they've said "well, we don't recommend them because of the burn risk". I've had people mention it on my FB posts too - I have been very vocal about loving my vaporiser in the past
Good point about the cord though. I haven't had to worry about using it for a kid who's not in a cot before (Nat didn't get into a cot til she was 3 and by then she wasn't too bothered by her colds).
