    wrapping

It's Darcy's birthday on Wednesday and I was just wrapping her books I had bought her. Then I thought -what's really the point? She doesn't care if they are wrapped or not. No-one else is going to be there for her to unwrap them

So my question is - do you wrap your kids 1st birthday presents?

I'd wrap them and will be wrapping Jacks, the fun of watching them tear the paper then play with the paper rather than the book or toy is part of the fun

Yes i will.. even if he doesnt know, i will know. We wrapped Jesse's Christmas Presents too and he was only 3.5 months old.. but the look on his face when we unwrapped them was priceless! It was a look of "Ohhhh Wooow!" Im sure he is going to love to pull off the paper on his birthday and see whats underneath! Plus it makes for great photos!

I yes, you have to wrap them, just so they have the fun of the unwrapping. It doesn't matter if you're not having a party, believe me, you'll get a buzz from watching her reactions.
