Ok I know I shouldnt complain because Im lucky Izzy sleeps the way she does but the last few nights she has been waking every4-5 hours for a feed. Im not used to gettting up twice in a night
Im thinking its because she has had this runny nose -would that be right? I just hope it passes quickly and she will go back to her usual 11 hour nights, both for me and her...poor little thing, its so hard seeing them sick, although the Fess works great and while shes asleep she doesnt seem to struggle to breathe at all.
So I guess I just wanted to find out if others have had the same thing- do your bubbies wake more frequently for feeds when sick? (Now that Ive written it, its so obvious that it is - ah well)
hey babe, mason got sick 3/4 weeks ago and has certainly stopped through. he was waking 2 hourly for feeds, then 3 hourly, then every 90 mins!
Last night was the first night in a month that he slept for 8 hours straight.
believe me I wasnt used to getting up either but you just gotta do what you gotta do. My eyeballs are burning STILL and i will never catch up, but thats why we make the best mums
HOPING she passes this phase much quicker than mason
Well if it makes you feel any better, my Laila has been waking up 4-5 times a night for the past 4 weeks and she hasn't even been sick
It's so painful. She's not hungry either just comfort sucking i'm sure. GRRRR
So least Izzy doesn't do this!
(Quick question- does Izzy sleep with a dummy??)
Glad the fess is working well. Hope you have a great sleep tonight
Nah no dummy here- we tried but she didnt like it...heres hoping it will pass - as you said Danni its amazing how we just do what we do hey! Love her to bits and its really not so bad (although at 3am Im not thinking that) especially as Im not working so I can rest!
Will let you know how I go tonight!
