sleep her in her portacot inher room with a blanket or sheet set that shes already using so it smells familiar. each sleep open the curtains so a tiny amount of light is coing through and gradually keep opening them until shes sleeping in a fully lit room.
keep using the portacot tll she's sleeping in it then move it to another room, again with sheets/blanket that smells like her
HTH
let us know how she goes
Thats a good idea. Thanks hun. I have 10 weeks to get her used to it. Then I will probably have to re-train her back into her current sleep habits! LOL!
i find that when i put boof in the ergo carrier- it works a treat
he cant move much and he gets warm, comfy and voila- sleep through boredom!!!
works a treat- he zzz today whilst looking through houses today in the ergo at 10am this morning- we had 4 houses to look at and he was zzzz before we even got through the first one!!
definately worth a try!
No matter what you do to prepare I always have found chn are different on holidays anyway with their sleeps and routines. I think they cope really well with change and adapt to where you are. We took DD away when she was 14 months and I worried for so long about it then found that everything just fell into place itself and she didn't stick to any of her home routines or habits anyway!
