In order;
DS1 - 9lb 7oz at 41w
DD1 - 7lb 9oz at 39w
DS2 - 7lb 10oz at 39W+2
DD2 - 8lb 13oz at 40W
DD3 - 9lb 3oz at 40W+4

DS1 was 8lb 3oz
DS2 was 8lb 2oz
DS3 was 8lb 1.5oz
DS4 was 7lb 4oz
DS5 was 7lb 11oz

So mine went down until Julian when he went up again, so will be interesting whether this one will go up or down. Goodluck not long to go now.

DD was 8lb 3oz (3.83kg) at 39+5
DS was 10lb 11oz (4.84kg) at 41

Yep. Almost 11lbs. And another who's second baby was a kilo bigger. Am I crazy for thinking about a third?

It was tru for me

DS1 - 8pd 12 (3.940kg) 41w+3
DS2 - 9pd 12 (4.442kg) 40w+4

I has exactly the same tear with the 2 and my midwife didn't think my 2nd would be that big as I only ballooned out in the last 2 weeks

Nope, DD was 3.16kg at 38+4 and DS was 2.96 at 38+2

DS1 was 7lb 10oz Doctor estimated he would be 'average size' 39w+4
DS2 was 7lb 3.5oz Doctor estimated he would be 'slightly smaller than average' 39w
DD was 7lb Doctor estimated slightly smaller again 39w+7

nope my second was actually ALOT smaller

DS1- 7lb 15oz (3.6kg)
DS2 - 4lb 15oz (2.2kg)

yes, DS2 was bigger then DS1. DS1 decided he wanted out at 37+1 and was 6pound. DS2 was induced (due to early signs of pre-eclampsia) at 38+2 and was 7pound 4ounces (he was already measuring over 7pound at check up at 37weeks).

But its not always the case- a friend of mine who also has 2 sons- her DS1 was closer to 10pound and 2 years later her DS2 arrived and was just over 9pound- both birthed totally naturally a day or 2 after their edd's.

DD1 - 8 pounds 10oz
DD2 - 6 pounds 11 oz

So two pounds difference and I had gestational diabetes with DD2 but not DD1 so go figure.

DS- 4050g, 8lb 15oz at 41+5

DD1 was born 8lb 1oz (3.85kg), DD2 came in slightly smaller at 7lb 11oz (3.5kg), so the 'subsequents are bigger' isn't always true. FWIW, DD1 was induced 2 days before her EDD, and DD2 went 6 days over her EDD (was born on the morning of 40+7, after labouring all night).
