Hi QB, we haven't had our 12 months shots yet (DS hasn't been well ) but I have heard that lots of babies react this way to them. Not sure why the 12 months vac in particular, but I know a lot of our baby buddies said the same thing. If you're concerned take her back to the GP.
Thanks Willow, might take her back if she is not better in a couple of days. She had measles and meningicoccol (sp?) this time. Hasn't had them before. Chicken pox is at 18 months but only one injection in the arm. This time she had one in each leg and the arm.
Westy, she is ok, just grumpy and irritable, cranky and not the same little girl!
My DS is only 9 months so I can't offer any personal advice. If your worried you can call the Immunise Australia Info Line on 1800 671 811 and they should be able to help you out in terms of side effects and how long they last. Hope your little one is better soon.
