i wouldn't worry, infact i'd be stoked! Like the others say, your babe will let you know when they are hungry, if it was me i wouldn't be setting any alarms!!
unless there are other issues - i.e. she hasnt been feeding properly or is unwell, then there should not be an issue.
DS was a great night sleeper for early on he'd sleep for 5 hours a night minimum and stopped waking for night feeds, for good, at about 3-4 weeks old
What a great sleep!!! I wouldn't be concerned unless there is a reason that you need to feed 4 hourly. DS had jaundice and we had to wake him 4 hourly around the clock as he wouldn't wake on his own. Once he was over it we started demand feeding.
That's fantastic. Dn't worry about it, as the others have said he will wake up if he's hungry. He also may need more feeds or bigger feeds during the day.
Mine all slept through the night as well and I used to get so worried, just like you. DS actually slept 8 hrs a night from birth. I was very spoilt I think.
My DS2 had been sleeping 8 hours at night sice we came home from hospital. It means very full boobs in the morning, and he wants his first few feeds closer together than in the afternoon, but he is fine. Growing rapidly and filling plenty of nappies; just what you want a newborn to do.
Don't feel bad! If babies want food they let you know. Stop setting your alarm and get some sleep.
