Hi and congratulations on your pregnancy!

My DS was 17 months old when my DD was born and I remember him getting fairly clingy towards the end of my pregnancy...

I think that they do sense that something is happening and can become a little bit clingy or seem a bit insecure. I think that it is normal for them to feel like this, there are some big changes happening in their little life! I think that they even understand that Mummy is changing and getting bigger, and that you may not be as active with them due to being a bit tired or sore.

I'm sure that your DD will adjust in the coming weeks and will maybe understand a bit more once you have the baby.... although then you will be dealing with other issues! Just kidding!!

On the other hand, it may just be that she is still a bit clingy from being unwell and is still remembering the feeling of being sick and associating that with daycare. I think that if that is the case then she will hopefully be able to get past it soon!

    Best of luck!

Thanks for the quick replies. I think you are both right and hopefully it'll pass. It's just heartbreaking when i leave her at daycare and she keeps looking at me through the door. I know that after about 5 or 10 minutes she is fine and playing with all the kids.
