I sometimes leave DD in the bath to check dinner etc... and then run back in too, so don't feel bad about that one.

Can you use a sling like CM has suggested? What about cooking dinner in a slow cooker, that way you start dinner earlier on in the day and just have to serve it at dinner time? Can you bring DS2 in the bathroom / have a bath with DS 1 (sorry not sure how old is DS2)
