I showered with the boys pretty much from day one. I find that it's best if you can get someone to help by handing bubs in and take them away afterwards.
I don't like bathing with the boys because they pee in the water and when they were younger I was scared they would poo.

I've showered with DD since she came home and had baths with her from about a week old, when it was easier to sit in the bath with my stitches. I just find it easier than kneeling down on the tiles to wash her in the bath & the baby bath I couldnt empty after Id used it because it was too heavy. Most of the time I wait until DF is home so he can get her undressed for me & I get a chance to have some time to myself in the bath or shower first or afterwards

We've showered with the girls from when they were a couple of weeks old. We've had a few baths together but TBH the bath is MY place of solitude - I love a really hot, bubbly bath with a good book so I'm reluctant to give up on one of the last things that is just mine.

We've got a double shower so will often have the whole family in there - one of us will get in with DD#1, who will move around the shower a bit these days from one fawcet to the other and can really look after herself (we still have to wash her obviously). The other undresses DD#2, passes her in and then gets in themselves. They both love the shower, and its a lot quicker to get everybody washed that way. Otherwise, I think there would be a lot more days when nobody gets bathed!

Lachlan and i had our first bath together on the weekend, so 7 weeks, it was great he loved the deep water.Hamish had to join us as well, a little squishy but Lachlan had plenty of room to kick and enjoy. We havent showered with him yet as i remebered showering with Hamish he was so slippery i was petrified the whole time.

Im hoping Dh will have a nice bath with him this week so they can have some good bonding time.

Harrison started having showers and baths with us from about 6 weeks old. He normally has a shower with daddy now. He loves it.

My youngest DD hated baths as a newborn, and she started having showers with Daddy at 6 days old. He's told her now she's 2 she's too old for showers with him (but he did say to her last night that she could have one with him - but he picked her up, gave her a cuddle and she fell asleep all tuckered out from her birthday party).

I haven't tried DD in a shower yet, mainly coz I like a really hot shower. I'm starting to get her used to having water splashed in her face so I might try a shower soon. I have a game I've started playing in the bath that a friend suggested. I say "Jazz ready? 1,2,3" then I pour or splash water on her face. I blow on her face first so she takes a breath. She's starting to learn after I say 3 that she has to take a big breath so I don't always have to blow on her face.
