Beaten by my pram..is this possible! (mountain buggy)

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. But im hoping someone has the answer before i got just a little more crazy!

Im having issues with my pram!! I have a Mountain buggy Urban elite, wasnt my choice but was a gift so im not complaining...
DD has grown to the point where i need to adjust the shoulder stap hight...but they are attached to the back of the pram with a sort of leather part, which looks like you should be able to move the ancor point up as there are three slots for the strap to go in...atm it is attached at the lowest one, thats how it came, but i cant work out how to change it.
There is the fluffy black seat linner on top and i have put the straps through the higher slot on that but as it is still attached on the lower one at the ancor point it just pulls the seat cover down, so it ends up all twisted, DD ends up all uncomfortable and the i have to leave the staps quite loose so she can sit up right, which is no good as she is getting more active..

Hoping someone else has the same pram and can either explain how to change them or atleast confirm that it is a stupid pram!!! really appreciate ANY help!

What a pain! I don't have your pram, but have you tried googling for the manual? It's possible the mountain buggy site might have some instructions?

will go have a look and come back...

Ok, took a look. Not sure how old your model is but mine is a 2006 or 2007 model. Each strap is attached to the canvas at the top and bottom. Then it is fed through the lambswool and used to clip into the bottom anchor point. None of these straps is removable from the canvas. To adjust the height on the straps, you unclip the Dring from the bit that feeds into the bottom anchor point, extend the strap, adjust to new hole, feed through, re clip and the pram is right to go.
To move the bottom anchor point, I think you just extend and move it? To be honest, my DH does all of those sorts of things for me... I've onyl ever had to do it once.
