Ahh, this really annoys me. I hope the separate MMR will still be available. Parents deserve a choice and I would think this would put me off getting it altogether if they add yet another one to it that I don't want.

The HPV really worries me! I would not have it myself or give it to any of my kids. Too many questions unanswered for me and too many adverse reactions as well. It's marketing is dodgy as too like a few of you have mentioned which adds to my distrust of it. If you have whooping cough they won't vax you for it. But so many people are born with HPV passed from mum at birth yet they don't test you for it before giving the vax. I asked two doctors about This and if there could be problems getting it if you already had the virus. They couldn't tell me. One speculated it would just be pointless for that strain.If the doctors providing it can't answer my questions I don't want it. This is one issue I have with it. I think it was too rushed out too and don't like the idea of being a guinea pig, or my kids. There are other ways to protect against HPV I'm really not comfortable with this vax at all.

I am assuming that if they want to combine the MMR and Varilrix, then they are looking to phase out both of those and just have the one MMRV vaccine.
