Does your child clean their teeth?

Hello,My little girl is only 13 months and only has 4 teeth but i started brushing them only a few weeks ago and now she does a rough job herself but i thought it might teach her early to brush her teeth?Not sure but I only do it properly once a night and just use water at the moment not paste aswell.

DS teeth get brushed once a day, he has a brush then I give them a quick scrub.
