Mine were all blue til 8 - 12 months. DD1's (10) are alot lighter than the littler ones though, so I wonder if they're going to lighten up like hers, or stay dark brown.

All mine were born dark blue and have stayed blue - although considering both of us and probably 80% of the families on both sides have blue eyes we expected them to be blue Although all 3 have varying shades of blue, which matches that all 3 also have varying shades of red hair

I was hoping DD would inherit DH's blue eyes she was born with dark blue/grey eyes, they changed to green, to hazel and are now brown at 2 years, think probably from about 18 months they were really starting to get the "real" brown colour.

Generally by 2.5 years they will have changed to what they will be. I have seen kids eyes change later though.

All my kids were born with blue. No-one in our families has blue except for DH's sister.

DD1's electric blue eyes have stayed that way. DD2 got indigo and they're just getting more intense.
DS's greyish eyes got paler until her was 3 earlier this year. Now they have started to go the same green as mine (Yay!!) Everyone told me that since they hadn't changed by three they wouldn't....I'm so grateful they are.

There are people that say 6 weeks, 6months, 1year etc. It's just a waiting game really.
