    Question foreskins

    Hi guys!

Anyone know when/if you need to retract little boys foreskins and clean underneath? I know that you aren't supposed to try and retract them when they are babies, because you can cause damage and such, but not having one myself (obviously) I have no idea when they become retractable - and DH is not much help - he just says "I don't know, I don't play with it, I just change his nappy!"

My DS is 18 months old.

I don't have any experience either, but I believe it can sometimes take a few years?
He will probably loosen it himself... He may even show you what he's done, LOL! Then you'll know
Sorry. That wasn't very helpful - hopefully someone who knows something will be in soon.

around about 2 i think... and by 7 they should be almost fully retractable.
ou need to rememebr that it wont come abck all at once. it will slowly loosen off and then come back fully by teh time he is 7

I thin Zander was close to three when his retracted on it's own (or probably with lots of playing ), but you are right, you're not supposed to do it for them.

Some wont retract till 5 or 6 years old. Whatever you do, don't force it - it will losen on its own over time naturally and also with him giving it a good old toggle too ROFL. My eldest DS didn't start to pull his back to clean until he was about 5.5yrs and we'd never had a problem with it before that (or since)

DS does it himself ( when I tell him too while in the bath ) but his still slightly attched ( a tiny hair like attchment near the tip ) but have been told that its ok and will go back on his own in its own time ( DS is almost 9 ) if not back by 10 I will get it checked out again I would hate for his 1st time DTD and have it rip back ouch!!!!

My DS is 3 in march and I don't think his retracts, he has recently discovered his 'Willy" though so I dare say it will retract soon as it's his new fav toy!

He gets erections and says "WOW, Big Willy!!"

I was told you can start from the age of four.
Having said that - my boys started later than that.
It is something they do in the bath and as yet we havent had a problem.
